This book is the catalogue raisonné of the graphic work of the Swiss painter and printmaker Alfredo Müller, whose life, torn between Paris and Tuscany, was until now intangible. Thereby, his work, scattered, badly dated, was incomprehensible.
Based on extensive researches, this book gives complete data for more than 200 etchings, all created in Paris and its area, almost all between 1896 and 1906, and allows to understand the diversity and originality of Müller's work. A hundred drawings, watercolours, pastels and sketches follow the history and the evolutions of the divided life of the "European without Europe", too Francophile in Italy, too Italian in France.
