This fifth and last volume of the catalogue raisonné of Serge Charchoune (1888-1975) recounts his last years, from 1961 to 1975. This last step allowed the artist to get an international fame, through great exhibitions in several countries, notably in Paris in 1971, where 130 of his works from 1916 to 1968 where shown.
This last volume also presents an other but also significant side of Charchoune's artistic production, as he was also a poet, a writer and a playwright. His works are studied by René Guerra, his friend but also his executor for his literary work. Testimonies by his lawyer Roland Dumas, his closest friend Pierre Lecuire, Mrs Jean-Louis Roque or Ms Tessa Herold, his last dealer, are also included in this book.
