This book presents around 150 creations of the 1980s, when Intramuros magazine was first published and when the great names of contemporary design were emerging. From Ron Arad to Philippe Starck, Marc Newson to Martin Szekely, Gaetano Pesce to Ettore Sottsass, more than 60 designers are featured in this luxury edition, organized in a geographical way allowing to contextualize their contribution to the international scene.
Archive photographs from the first issues of Intramuros pay tribute to these designers who were about to think, create and improve the everyday life. The manufacturers without whom the diffusion of this D80 culture wouldn't have occurred are also featured: Alessi, Alias, Cappellini, Cassina, De Padova, Driade, Knoll, Memphis, Molteni, Neotu, Vitra etc.
