Félix Vallotton (1865-1925) produced such a singular body of work that it is still difficult to classify him today. He resisted the strong influence of the Impressionists of his time and will always remain among the Nabis, including his friends Bonnard and Vuillard, the one who was nicknamed the "foreign Nabi".
This book focuses on an important period of Vallotton's work, from 1895 to 1925, and more particularly on the landscapes he composed during his travels or extended stays in certain places he loved.
