This exhibition catalogue presents a selection of more than one hundred of Fernand Léger's most important works, dating from 1905 to 1955, belonging to the Musée National Fernand Léger in Biot: thirty paintings on canvas, sixty works on paper (drawings, watercolours, tempera), some ceramics, three large tapestries and some of the artist's books. To this core group of works are added five paintings (on temporary deposit in Biot) from the collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou.
