Exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 28 September - 24 October 2022
From the moment he opened his first boutique at 6, rue Royale, in Paris, in 1936, Fred Samuel (1908-2006) brought a new, dynamic spirit to his jewellery creations, filled with the light of the skies of Argentina, from where he arrived at the age of 16, giving his Maison a unique character, from the emblematic Force 10 bracelet to the Pretty Woman collection.
Through numerous archival documents, gouachés and photographs of splendid pieces of fine jewellery, this book pays tribute to the founder of Maison Fred, whose values and spirit still inspire today's bold designs.
