Pablo Picasso's masterpiece created in 1937, Guernica synthesises the plastic research carried out by the artist for over 40 years. Exhibited and reproduced all over the world, the work was at once an anti-Franco, anti-fascist and pacifist symbol.
This exhibition catalogue presents the history of Guernica through the links that bound the artist to his painting throughout his life.
