Exhibition at the Couvent des Capucins, Landerneau, 11 December 2016 - 17 April 2017
During the XXth century, Hans Hartung (1904-1989) established himself as one of the central figures of a painted art free of classical rules.
This exhibition catalogues aims to show the vision of an artist whose regularity is remarkable but whose journey remains cadenced by surprising variations in the execution. It also draws a parallel with other artists from the 50s Lyrical Abstraction to the contemporary painting.
