Over the course of his fifty-year career, Jacques Grange has established himself as the decorator of the homes of great collectors, artists, designers and trendsetters. His classical training at the École Boulle and the École Camondo and his passion for contemporary art have given rise to a unique vision and an inimitable approach to French design, the source of his timeless style.
Through some thirty recent projects in Europe and America, this book travels from a mansion in Paris and homes in London and New York, to a seaside hut in Comporta, Portugal, and a mythical 1950s house in Los Angeles. The text by Pierre Passebon offers an analysis of the foundations of Jacques Grange's work, of his eclectic and refined conception in constant evolution. François Halard's previously unpublished photographs capture these singular projects with deep sensitivity.
