New expanded edition

Straddling the border between photography and street art, JR's (1983-) site-specific creations reach a wide audience in urban environments, among young people, artists and committed individuals.

This new edition of the comprehensive monograph devoted to the enigmatic Parisian artist-photographer brings together all his collaborative art projects from around the world, and includes his most recent works. It is illustrated with over 350 photographs of his projects, his works exhibited in galleries and behind the scenes footage of his work. Each chapter presents a major work, from Expo 2 Rue, which launched his career, to The Chronicles of Miami, a huge mural composed of more than 1,000 portraits, exhibited in Miami between December 2023 and January 2024.

With a foreword by George Lucas and produced in close collaboration with the artist, the book also includes a comic strip by Joseph Remnant, an introduction by Nato Thompson and a text by Italian director Alice Rohrwacher, tracing the history of JR.
