After the first two volumes published in 2009, this detailed study presents the production of Nevers faience in the 18th - L'ère des manufactures - and 19th centuries - Alliances, déclin et renouveau.
In the 18th century is often created faience patronymique, but also numerous yet unknown decors, as the faience known as "de La Rochelle". Shortly after the 1850s appear "artistic" faience, movement increased from the 1860s by the interest for ancient production. From 1875, Antoine Montagnon succeeds in giving back to Nevers faience its yesteryear splendour, thanks to his success at Universal Expositions.
