First a simple artisan in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, Nicolas Petit became master, then cabinetmaker at the beginning of the 1770's. His production illustrates the evolution from the Louis XV style to Louis XVI. Very diversified to be appreciate by his demanding customers, he reveals an original and very talented cabinetmaker.
This book is the third volume of the collection « Les cahiers du mobilier » directed by Thibaut Wolversperges.
