Decorator Paul Follot (1877-1941) was one of the first to invent and promote works detached from historical reminiscences while maintaining a link with the tradition of the craft. He travelled through the various eras, succeeding each time in renewing himself and was recognised by his peers as a master.
This work, based on unpublished family archives, sheds new light on the life and work of this master of Art Nouveau, inventor of the 1910 style, and noticed at the 1925 Exposition internationale des Arts décoratifs et industriels modernes for his Art Deco creations.
