From 1955 to 1995, the design office of Antoine Philippon (1930-1995) and Jacqueline Lecoq (1932- ) stood out for its long-term commitment and uncompromising dedication. Throughout the 'Thirty Glorious Years', the couple of interior architects established a demanding practice in interior architecture, exhibition scenography, industrial design and teaching.
This first monograph devoted to Philippon Lecoq pays tribute to the industrialists who supported them in the development of their many mass-produced projects, encouraging their exploration of new uses and new techniques: in France from Henry Mouraux to Airborne, the Mobilier National, Formica and Glaces de Boussois; abroad, in Germany in particular, Bofinger, Erwin Behr and Lauser.
