Exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, 18 October 2023 - 15 January 2024
For Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), drawing was a source of constantly renewed invention, from his early studies to his last works: serpentine lines or hatched drawings, delicate shades of pastel or the deep blacks of ink.
This exhibition catalogue presents over 2,000 drawings and engravings, highlighting the extraordinary collection of the Musée Picasso. It creates echoes between different periods by comparing hitherto unknown drawings with famous masterpieces.
