This book is the new updated version of René Lalique's catalogue raisonne first published in 1987.
Beyond his status of acknowledged glass-maker, René Lalique (1960-1945) compelled during his career a real stylistic renewal admired, imitated or more or less systematically copied by a number of his colleagues, even the most prestigious ones.
In this catalogue raisonné, the classification of Lalique's work was established from the documents of the artist himself: works of art, glass jewels, lighting, table glass, then diverse works, this last part notably including scent bottles and civil and religious architecture items.
