Exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, 8 June - 22 August 2022
The unique work of Tatiana Trouvé (1968-) plays with time and space, which the Franco-Italian artist constantly reinvents, creating a dimension parallel to her own life. Nourished by literary rather than plastic influences, she has been renewing the genre of sculpture and installation since the mid-1990s.
Published on the occasion of her exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, this catalogue reproduces all of Tatiana Trouvé's drawings. Alongside her sculptures and installations, this body of work, which spans three decades, reveals a floating world in which the human figure is marked by its absence mixed with the traces of its passage: uncertain and intangible places, scenes crossed by the effects of memory and oblivion, work that echoes that of the dream and the unconscious.
