This monograph is devoted to Hungary-born plastic artist Vera Székely (1919-1994), who began to be known first in the 1950s for ceramics signed in trio with her husband sculptor Pierre Székely and André Borderie. Later she worked on pottery, metal, wood and glass before arriving to her blossom through textile. Her ephemeral bended-felt installations and her tensioned-fabric structures where exhibited around the world, notably in the Biennale internationale de la tapisserie in Lausanne (1981), at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris (1985) and at the Lunds Konsthall in Sweden (1988).
