This book is the very first one devoted only to the objects and ceramics of André Borderie (1923-1998), artist also known for his sculptures and tapestries.
From 1955, beginning of his collaboration with Pierre and Vera Szekely, to 1970, Borderie created ceramics, without trying to be a "real" ceramist. Very early, he escaped from the rules of the profession and forgot geometric perfection in favour of poetry. The most part of his works were realized in Senlis and fired, and his enamel range goes from red to blue grey.
This book allows to discover these works in the diversity of their textures and in the richness of their enamels.
