The American photographer Christopher Makos (1948-) was a companion and friend of Andy Warhol (1928-1987) and photographed and recorded the artist's career development.
In this book, Makos documents how Wharhol, like all newcomers to New York, tried to make a career for himself, started out as a model, and eventually broke through to become one of America's most recognized artists. Christopher Makos's energy and creativity provide a wonderful insight into Warhol's career.
