Antide Janvier, a great watchmaker of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, who died in poverty and without descendants, can be considered the greatest watchmaker of all time.
The result of several years of study and research, this second edition of the book published in 1995 completes the list of Janvier's works discovered or reported since then.
All the works are presented in chronological order, with a serial number assigned according to the logic used by Antide Janvier and completed arbitrarily.
