Cuno Amiet (1868-1941) was one of the major actors of the revival of Swiss painting at the beginning of the 20th century and played early a key role among the artists of Symbolism and Classic Modernism. Most of his works represent landscapes, gardens, portraits and still lifes. He was moreover one of the first to give priority to colour in his compositions.
This catalogue raisonné of early painted work studies in chronological order Cuno Amiet's work until 1919, filling thus an important lack.
