Parisian architect Guillaume Terver (1968-) founded in 2010 the company Le Lad (Laboratoire en architecture et design), a multidisciplinary research "place" where architecture, interior architecture and furniture are mixed. In 2019, Fabienne Couvert, architect DPLG, became a partner, and in 2021, Le Lad Editions was launched, in order to publish its own furniture elements.
This fist monograph on Guillaume Terver and his team presents a selection of projects carried out by Le Lad over the last three years, the result of a meeting between the studio and project owners, companies and craftsmen. Various demanding domestic projects are presented - a villa in Uccle, flats in Paris and a stud farm in Saint-Pierre-Azif - as well as two projects - "La Maison du Sarrasin" in Fougères and the "Quai du Breizh Café" in Paris - which, despite their commercial status, remain in the sphere of the intimate. The publication is enhanced by numerous photographs of the buildings, both overall and in detail.
