This exhibition catalogue continues the dialogue intiated in 2007 between the worlds of mineralogy and jewellery. Combining Muséum d'Histoire naturelle's scientific rigour and accuracy and Van Cleef & Arpels's delightful style the exhibition creates a bridge between these two worlds.
Beyond the objects themselves, rough crystals, cut gemstones and jewellery creations show the Earth's millenary work and the virtuoso works created by human hand.

Next to a choice of creations by Maison Van Cleef since its foundation, a part of the Museum's collection is displayed, composed by minerals of various shapes, colours and facets.
