Exhibition at Centre Pompidou, Paris, 29 April - 3 August 2015
Renowned architect, urban planner, painter and sculptor, Le Corbusier (1887-1965) has defined the man as a universal metric reference in the architecture through his Modulor.
This catalogue of the Centre Pompidou exhibition studies Le Corbusier's work through the human body, in its physicality but also in its perceptive and spiritual dimensions. It highlights the omnipresence of the human figure in his production, from details of his painted work, architectural realizations or projects, furniture or writings, which testify of the richness and complexity of his mind.
