Unique and unknown set, the furnishing of the Château de Chantilly form an exceptional collection. Given by the Duc d'Aumale to the Institut de France, it was above all his daily furnishing. These pieces of furniture remain in the arrangement wanted by the Duc d'Aumale, revealing not only his tastes, but also his wish to dedicate the Château de Chantilly to the arts.
This book presents exceptional pieces which belonged to the Princes de Condé, a unique set of furniture representative of the taste and style developed under the July Monarchy, and then furniture bought or ordered to finish the refurnishing after the building of the new castle.
