Roger Vandercruse, more famous under his stamp R.V.L.C, had never been the object of some deep scientific researches, or of a recent publication. His family introduced him in the very closed circle of the Oeben, Riesener, Ravrio and Levasseur. He worked, besides, for the best haberdashers and cabinetmakers of his time, as for the Garde-Meuble de la Couronne.
This book, based on many unplubished archives, lights up the life and the work of this great artist. It is the first volume of the collection « Les cahiers du mobilier » directed by Thibaut Wolversperges.
