Terry O'Neill (1938-2019) photographed the giants of the music world, both on stage and in private, for over fifty years: David Bowie, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, Dean Martin, The Who, Janis Joplin, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Sammy Davis Junior, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry and The Beatles, to name but a few. O'Neill was Frank Sinatra's personal photographer for more than 30 years and took some of the earliest known photographs of the Beatles, as well as building relationships with the band members, photographing their weddings and other private moments.
Chronicling the history of rock through the work of Terry O'Neill, this book features some of the most famous music photographs of all time, as well as many personal and intimate photos taken "behind the scenes" and at private functions.
